Glitoris are a feminist punk rock band who have been flipping the bird at the patriarchy for a decade. I came up with the infamous glit-clit logo for their first gig in 2013, and have been collaborating with ‘the glits’ ever since.

Glitoris: self-titled album (2023)

‘Neon’ was a big vibe the band wanted to lean in to for this album - not only is it bright on screen, it would look incredible when incorporated in to costuming for live shows. To achieve the ultra-bright neon for the printed record and cassette sleeves, the covers were printed using three seperate custom neon inks - kudos to Implant for their meticulous printing skills, helping us to achieve our ambitiously bright and complex printing goals!

Social content

For each single off the album as well as the album release itself, I created a suite of dazzling graphics for instagram stories, reels, grid posts, as well as facebook banners.

Concepts

Below is the journey from concept through to finished cover. Starting with some vibey visuals provided by the band, we moved in to neon icon concepts, each representing a song on the album. We then moved in to refining the icons and colours, eventually coming up with the final design.

You want me to make the logo HOW BIG!?

Logo evolution

Left to right we have the Glitoris logo evolution timeline: 2013 (neon sign style), 2018 (super hero era), 2023 (bold and modern).
